Step-by-step instructions on how to use Cega Mainnet

Howdy! 🤠 We’re thrilled you’re joining us today for our mainnet launch. If this is your first time to crypto, defi, or exotic options, we’re here to make sure you have a great experience.

Handy Dandy Checklist
You need to have 3 things to use Cega’s defi application.
- Phantom wallet
- Need a Phantom wallet (desktop, not mobile) to connect to Cega’s web application
- Instructions here: link
2. SOL
- Need SOL to pay for transaction fees on the Solana network. $10 USD worth of SOL is plenty to pay for transaction fees
- There are a number of ways to acquire SOL: link
3. USDC
- Need USDC to make investments / deposits in Cega’s vaults
- Get some from Circle or swap your SOL for it (try Jupiter Exchange on Solana)
- Bridge from Swim Protocol
Cega Mainnet Instructions
Step 1: Visit Cega web application
Go to https://app.cega.fi/
Step 2: Connect your Phantom wallet
Hit “Select Wallet” in the top right corner.
Choose Phantom.
Click “Connect” when prompted to connect to Cega Exotic Options
Step 3: Browse investment vaults
Review the different vaults listed on the main page.
Click on a card to see details about the investment product.
Read our documentation to learn more details about the payoff scenarios (link).
Step 4: Invest in vault
On the vault detail page, enter the amount of USDC you wish to deposit using the box on the right side.
Click Preview Deposit.
Review the details of your deposit
Click Deposit to confirm.
Step 5: Done!
That’s it! Vaults are open for a 7 day deposit window, after which the exotic options trade is executed and the vault begins generating yield.
Step 6: Withdrawal
Investors can submit withdrawals at any time which will add the request to the withdrawal queue. When a vault expires (30 days), all queued withdrawals are processed and funds are returned to the user’s wallet. Funds that aren’t withdrawn are automatically reinvested in a new 30 day vault for the same investment product.
Special instructions for Cega NFT holders
Users who hold a Cega Super Sanic (CSS) NFT in their wallet receive exclusive access to the highest APY vault at mainnet. For more information about our NFT collection, read our announcement here: link.
Step 1: Acquire CSS NFT
To acquire a Cega Super Sanic NFT, go to Magic Eden (#1 NFT marketplace on Solana): link.
Step 2: Connect your wallet holding the NFT
Make sure the wallet you connect to Cega’s web application holds the CSS NFT
Step 3: See the exclusive “Insanic” vault
You will be able to see a fourth vault on the vault list page called “Insanic” — this is the highest APY vault and is only available for CSS NFT holders
Step 4: Same steps as regular mainnet above
Important note: if you sell your CSS NFT, you will no longer be able to see the Insanic vault. This means if you invested in the Insanic vault and want to withdraw your deposits, you must be holding the CSS NFT. Users who sell their CSS NFT will also not be eligible for CSS benefits.
